Helping Hispanic Youth gain access to a better education

The Marie Maxey Foundation will award a $500 scholarship to support a Dreamer (Hispanic youth brought to the U.S. at an early age by undocumented parents) with college expenses.  This scholarship will be available to youth from Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador.

In order to be considered for this scholarship, please submit a 500 word essay on "The Most Important Hispanic Woman in My Life."  The essay should be submitted to  michael@maxeys.org by August 15, 2019.  Also submit proof of acceptance and planned attendance to a college in the United States for either a two-year or four-degree.

Hispanic women -- mothers, grandmothers, sisters, aunts and mentors -- help create the miracles we will see in the next generation of Hispanic youth.  This scholarship is provided in honor of Elena Bathrick.
