The story of how we started our family foundation began in Tegucigalpa, Honduras in 2018. I had worked on youth education and skills development activities for United States Agency for International Development  (USAID) and was finishing up my contract when the senior leadership in USAID's headquarters in Washington DC was asked to come up with concepts for privatizing our development activities.

The proposal I drafted can be downloaded in the link below.  USAID decided not to accept it and so I thought that this would be a good time to try my idea through my own 501c3 non-profit.  We are in our seventh year and continuing to grow.
